Description
MW = 14.4 kDa. Recombinant Alpha-Synuclein cloned from human cDNA, expressed in E. coli. The protein consists of the full length alpha-Synuclein (residues 1-140, swissprot accession P37840). .

Purity
> 95% by SDS-PAGE. The protein was observed as a single band migrating at a molecular weight between 20 and 14 kDa.

Supplied as
0.5 mg/mL in Sodium phosphate buffer 20mM, pH 6.5, NaCl 200mM, EDTA 0.5mM, Complete Protease Inhibitor Cocktail EDTA-free (Roche). The concentration is calculated from the absorbance at 280nm (ε280= 5120 M-1cm-1).

Storage
-20°C. The protein is stable at 4°C for at least 1 weeks and at 25°C for at least several hours. After initial defrost, aliquot product into individual tubes and refreeze at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/defrost cycles.
